Picking Fixtures and Tile

April 2018 - As the work progressed, we needed to pick out the plumbing fixtures, tile and countertop that we would be using in our new bathroom.

We went to a local supplier called Moore Supply to pick out the plumbing fixtures and a different supplier called ProSource in Coppell for the tile and countertop.

Siding

April 2018 - After completing the framing, Nathan began work on the siding. We chose a siding that matched the style of the existing house. The idea is to make the new addition look like it was build at the same time as the original house.

Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Rough In

April 2018 - After the framing and roofing were done, it was time for electrical, plumbing and hvac rough in work. Due to the low pitch of the roof line as it tied into the existing house, there wasn't a whole lot of room in the attic space, but they were able to fit everything they needed in. You can see why they all wanted to get all their rough in work done before the sheetrock went on the ceiling.

Finishing up the Framing and New Roof

April 2018 - After finishing up the framing, Nathan installed the new sliding glass door, the windows and the panel boards and tape that seal up the exterior walls from wind and air penetration. While Nathan was working on all that the roofing side of TriStar came and removed the old roof and installed our new roofing on both the new addition and the old house.
